Dadventures

During my senior year at Scripps, I started working for my uncle’s start-up Dadventures, where the mission was to help parents connect with their kids through local events. We curated lists of family-friendly events, first in the greater LA area and later in nearly 20 cities across the United States. As a content specialist, I helped source and create those lists as well as contribute to other articles on our site related to parenting. I worked heavily in the Google workspace, MailChimp, and WordPress, learning the ins and outs of content production. Our work naturally shifted during COVID-19; we pivoted from hosting our own events and promoting outside events to finding at-home activities that kids could do by themselves or with their parents.

We were a small, nimble team that constantly adapted to our users and to needs in the parenting space.
